Smoke Control Dampers

Function of Smoke control dampers is to extract toxic gases, smoke to provide the supply of fresh air to designed fire compartments. Smoke control dampers are actuator driven only as they have two safety positions, “open” and “closed”.

Actuators require power supply even in the event of fire to enable the damper blade to be moving from one safe position to another.

Smoke control dampers are available in circular or rectangular construction to suite building duct system. Complexity of smoke control require the smoke dampers to be suited to various installations and functions such as single or multizone installation, Manual intervention or automatic activation.

Controllers and communication units can be added as optional accessory to allow communication and maintenance testing of the products remotely for the actuator driven smoke control dampers.
