Aplicación

La serie FR ha sido diseñada para su instalación en conductos circulares. Estos modelos pueden usarse para varios puntos de escape, aplicaciones residenciales y comerciales, ventilación de semisótano o suministro de aire renovado.

Diseño

Todos los modelos (excepto FR 200, FR 225 y FR250) cuentan con una carcasa de plástico unida y sellada permanentemente. La carcasa está unida por medio de un proceso de soldadura por vibración. El proceso emplea movimiento transversal y recíproco en el punto de contacto entre las piezas de entrada y salida de la carcasa. La fricción produce un calor, que funde el material termoplástico en la interfaz. El material fundido se vuelve a solidificar rápidamente, lo que resulta en una carcasa fusionada de una sola pieza. El borde fundido es inherentemente hermético, muy sólido y permanente. No se utilizan tornillos ni adhesivos para unir las piezas de la carcasa. Un ventilador hermético, asegura que no se pierda eficiencia y que no se viertan contaminantes debido a alguna fuga.

El ventilador puede ser montado al exterior y en lugares húmedos. La serie FR cuenta con motores de rotor externo, que han demostrado ser confiables año tras año. Se ha diseñado una gran caja de cableado eléctrico dentro de la carcasa del ventilador, lo que facilita la instalación eléctrica.

Control de velocidad

Los ventiladores pueden ser controlados por medio de un controlador de velocidad de estado sólido.

Protección del motor

Para evitar que el motor se sobrecaliente el ventilador está protegido de la impedancia.

1.7 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

A.     Delivery Requirements: Deliver materials to site in manufacturer’s original, unopened containers and packaging, with labels clearly identifying product name and manufacturer.

B.     Storage and Handling Requirements:

1.     Store and handle materials in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.

2.     Keep materials in manufacturer’s original, unopened containers and packaging until installation.

PART 3. EXECUTION

3.1 EXAMINATION

A.     Examine areas to receive circular inline duct fans.

B.     Notify Architect of conditions that would adversely affect installation or subsequent use.

C.     Do not begin installation until unacceptable conditions are corrected.

3.2 INSTALLATION

A.     Install circular inline duct fans in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions at locations indicated on the Drawings.

B.     Attach duct work to inlet and outlet connection collars of circular inline duct fans in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.

C.     Electrical: Install electrical power to circular inline duct fans as specified in Section 26 05 00.

3.3 ADJUSTING

A.     Adjust circular inline duct fans for proper operation in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.

3.4 PROTECTION

A.     Protect installed circular inline duct fans from damage during construction.
