AM-FD

The activation mechanism for the fire damper is part of the fire damper which serves for the movement

of the blade between the open and closed position and for detention in these end positions. Activation mechanisms

are interchangeable. It is possible, for example, to replace a manually operated mechanism with an actuator operated

mechanism and vice versa. All mechanisms have a 3-digit compatibility code which shows which mechanism

goes with which damper dimension. In case of activation mechanism exchange, order the appropriate mechanism

according to the procedure described in the document “DataSheet_AM-FD” on Systemair DESIGN.
