For EI90S installation methods “On a Wall and Out of a Wall Using Mineral Wool Segments”, it is necessary to cover

the edge of the insulation to sufficiently hold the insulation in place during fire to fulfill the EI90S criteria. Installation

methods “On a Wall and Out of a Wall” represent protrusion of the next fire compartment, therefore strengthening

the hanging of the damper and the damper itself is necessary.
