Octagonal casing is manufactured from seawater resistant aluminium. The base frame consists of hot-dip galvanised steel. Impeller with backward-curved blades is manufactured from steel and galvanized. For C4 (and up) corrosion category additional surface protection of exposed parts is recommended.
Motor cooling with fresh air via air duct. The motor protection is provided by customers. Service switch serial on cooling duct. For speed control of single speed motors use combination of frequency inverter and appropriate filter to motor side (sine or du/dt), respectively observe instructions. At frequency controlled units additional EMC protection could be needed (see also items with EMC protection - marked EMC, other are available on request).

Roof fan, vertical blowing. The DVV-XS...XP/120 radial fans are intended for the normal daily ventilation, temperature of air up to 120°C. The base frame with inlet cone is made of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet. The outer octagonal casing from seawater-resistant aluminium. Bird protection grill inside casing. The air stream is carried out through annular space between the casing and the motor housing. The fan has a backward curved radial impeller made of steel and galvanized. With hub and secured bolted joint directly assembled on the motor shaft. Dynamically balanced according to ISO 1940 T1 quality class G6,3. Driven by an IEC IE2 high efficiency motor, single speed. PTC thermal protection serial built-in electric motor. Cooling of the motor with ambient air through an air duct in underpressure system. The motor protection is provided by customers. Connection the fan to the mains in service switch outside on the casing. For speed control use combination of frequency inverter and appropriate filter to motor side (sine or du/dt), respectively observe instructions. EMC protection (for frequency control, if needed) on request, serial not EMC protected cables, cable glands and service switches are used. Flange connection according to EUROVENT. An additional sound attenuator HSDV (preferable factory mounted) is available as accessory (the marking of the fan with silencer is DVVI).
