AWE-SK Motorprotection 2A/230V

Thermal contact motor protection device for placing on a control panel. The AWE-SK is connected to the motor relay control circuit.

Function:

If the thermal contact in the motor is tripped, the AWE-SK contact relay breaks the control circuit connecting with the motor, the warning light illuminates and the fan stops. The motor will still be without current after the thermal contact in the motor is closed. The motor protector is reset by pressing the red button marked “Reset” on the front panel, or by closing an external contact connected to the “Reset” connection block. The AWE-SK does not trip in the event of a mains power supply interruption.

The 14-11 connection block provides a potential-free alarm contact producing an external signal when the relay is tripped.
